Israeli-Canadian Faculty Collaboration Grant

The Halbert Centre Israeli-Canadian Faculty Collaboration Grant is open to tenured and non-tenured (with teken) faculty members of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. This program is designed to facilitate scholarly exchanges on topics with significant Canadian content between faculty of the Hebrew University and faculty affiliated with recognized institutions of higher education in Canada. The program may also be utilized for individual Israeli scholars who do not have a Canadian partner, but can demonstrate either substantial need for their academic agenda to be conducted in Canada or significant Canadian content in their academic agenda. The grant will consist of a contribution towards international airfare and relevant expenses for a maximum amount of $7,500 (CD).
Any publication or activity resulting from the grant must include explicit mention of The Halbert Centre for Canadian Studies. The researcher will also be required to present a report at the end of the project, which will be distributed to members of the Academic Committee at HUJI and the Advisory Committee in Canada.
Utilization of the grant is valid for a period of 12 months, beginning in October of the following year. The budget will be managed by the Halbert Center, according to the budgetary details stated  in the grant proposal.
