 Israeli-Canadian Faculty Collaboration Grant        
     
 The Halbert Centre Israeli-Canadian Faculty Collaboration Grant is open to tenured and non-tenured (with teken) faculty members of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. This program is designed to facilitate scholarly exchanges on topics with significant Canadian content between faculty of the Hebrew University and faculty affiliated with recognized institutions of higher education in Canada. The grant will consist of a contribution towards international airfare and relevant expenses for a maximum amount of $7,500 (CD). Any publication or activity resulting from the grant must include explicit mention of The Halbert Centre for Canadian Studies. The researcher will also be required to present a report at the end of the project, which will be distributed to members of the Academic Committee at HUJI and the Advisory Committee in Canada. Utilization of the grant is valid for a period of 12 months, beginning in October of the following year. The budget will be managed by the Halbert Center, according to the budgetary details stated  in the grant proposal. *Applications are open for faculty members within the faculties of social science, humanities, law, social work, education and business administration.

The Israeli-Canadian Faculty Collaboration Grant is open to tenured and non-tenured (with teken) faculty members of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. This program is designed to facilitate scholarly exchanges on topics with significant Canadian content between faculty of the Hebrew University, and faculty affiliated with recognized higher education institutions in Canada. The grant will consist of a contribution towards international airfare and relevant expenses for a total maximum amount of $7,500 (CD).          

Utilization of the grant is valid for a period of 12 months, beginning in October 2021. The budget will be managed by the Halbert Center, according to the budgetary details stated in the grant proposal.           

Scholars at the Hebrew University who have completed their Ph.D. degrees within the last seven years will be given priority in allocating the program grants.          

Please note that candidates must submit their application by e-mail to the Halbert Centre for Canadian Studies by February 28, 2021 in order to be considered. In some cases, the Halbert Centre may request letters of recommendation. These must be sent directly by the referees to the Halbert Centre by e-mail to mscanada@mail.huji.ac.il          

Applicants for the grant will be informed of the approval or rejection of their requests by the end of March 2021.
